Celebrate International Women’s Day with a class visit to Hilma af Klint: The Secret Paintings and a screening of Halina Dryschka’s illuminating documentary about the artist’s life and work.
Join us for an inspirational morning of art and animation. Students will discover Hilma af Klint’s radiantly coloured abstract artworks then sit back and enjoy a selection of animated short films connected to themes in the show.
A mindful tour of Hilma af Klint: The Secret Paintings with creative activities along the way. Students will experiment with drawing as a way to connect mind and body, and to stay present, calm, and curious.
We recognise that transport costs can be a big barrier to visiting the Gallery. Thanks to the City Gallery Foundation we are able to offer transport grants to attend education programmes at City Gallery Wellington.
